Actor Rejects Anti-Vax Views After Voicing Controversial Coronavirus Feature

The acclaimed actor has given his vocal talents to a feature-length documentary that challenges the legitimacy of vaccines and praises ex- health official the political figure.

The Feature's Disputed Basis

Called "Plague of Corruption," the project is inspired by a bestselling book co-authored by a disgraced researcher, who rose to infamy during the global outbreak for claims that the virus was caused by a faulty batch of the influenza shot.

The publication's co-author, the executive producer, has penned books with controversial figure the Infowars host. The producer recently posted celebrating Neeson's involvement in the documentary.

A Strong Denial

Representatives for the actor have released a response pushing back against claims that he supports anti-vax sentiments.

"We all understand that unethical practices might be present within the pharmaceutical industry, but that cannot be conflated with being against vaccines," the statement states. "Neeson has never been, and is not, anti-vaccination. His considerable work with Unicef highlights his consistent support for public-health initiatives."

The statement noted that the star had no hand in the project's messaging and that questions about its assertions should be directed to the creators.

Key Themes Within the Feature

According to the documentary, the narration provided by Neeson features several provocative statements:

  • It states that pro-immunization voices have demanded "complete compliance" to government bodies.
  • It posits that "medical science has become deeply politicized."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is shown stating, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they just aren't safely tested."
  • The film further attacks Covid lockdowns, claiming they caused psychological harm that resulted in thousands of lives.
  • Concerning pandemic shots, it cites a report that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "risky trials."

Historical Controversy and Current Debates

The documentary further cites a historical film about HIV drug testing on children, which was subsequently the focus of a BBC apology by the corporation for unbalanced reporting.

Last month, Kennedy instructed the Centers for Disease Control to change its official position that there is no link between vaccines and autism spectrum disorder. This assertion is also referenced in the film, despite a recent study from the World Health Organisation reiterating no connection has been found.

A Past Record of Advocacy

Differing from the film's narrative, Neeson has formerly voiced clear advocacy for vaccines in his capacity as a charity ambassador.

In 2022, he referred to vaccines as "an extraordinary achievement," noting that "The conversation about vaccines in lately has lost sight of how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in our history."

The documentary concludes with Neeson's narration stating, "This marks not the conclusion of our journey. Rather, it is the dawn of a different phase."
